Asemakaavaa täydentävä, yksityiskohtainen rakentamista ja ympäristön laatua koskeva ohje.
Rakentamistapaohje voi olla ohjeellinen tai sitova. Sitovuus kirjataan yleensä tontinluovutusehtoihin, joilla kunta myy tontin yksityisen rakennettavaksi.
Käsite ei esiinny laissa, mutta on laajalti käytössä suunnittelun käytäntökielessä.

Detailed guidelines for building

english definition:

Detailed guidelines concerning building and the quality of the environment, supplementing the local detailed plan.
Detailed guidelines for building may be non-binding or binding. The binding strength is usually written into the plot assignment stipulations, used by the local authority when selling a plot to a private partner for building.
The term does not exist in the Land Use and Building Act, but it is much used in practice.
