Muistutus esitetään yleensä kirjallisena. Muistutuksen tehneille, jotka ovat pyytäneet kirjallista vastausta ja samalla ilmoittaneet osoitteensa, on ilmoitettava kunnan perusteltu kannanotto esitettyyn mielipiteesen.

Taking of an attitude by an interested party or a member of the municipality to a statutory land use plan proposal.

Objection is usually expressed in written form. The local authority´s reasoned opinion on the objection shall be made known to objectors who have so requested in writing and, at the same time, provided their address.
