A professional characteristic for an informal interim type of plan for a larger area, before drawing up the local detailed plans in smaller pieces.
Most often outline plan is made to study the possibilities and effects of transport, services, green connections or larger area developments for the basis of local detailed plans.
This type of plan has not and has never had any statutory position.
