Lokalplaner kan indeholde bestemmelser om tilvejebringelse af eller tilslutning til fællesanlæg som betingelse for ibrugtagen af ny bebyggelse. Dette gælder også selvom fællesanlæg evt. ligger udenfor planens område. Eksempler på fællesanlæg kan være vand, kloak og fjernvarmeanlæg.

Local plans may contain provisions stipulating that new common facilities be built or that connection be made to existing facilities as a condition before new buildings may be used. This applies even if the common facility is located outside the area of the plan. Examples of common facilities are water supply, sewerage and district heating.
