Городская регенерация

national definition:

Совокупность работ и мероприятий по восстановлению полностью или частично утраченных градостроительных комплексов, зданий и сооружений с полным или частичным восстановлением функций, архитектурно-художественного облика, конструкций, инженерного оборудования, внешнего благоустройства. При регенерации допускается строительство новых зданий, сооружений, элементов благоустройства территории при сохранении существующих памятников и фрагментов застройки без нарушения исторических приемов организации пространства.

System of the measures on renovation of urban complexes, buildings which were completely or partly lost and complete or partial revival of their functions, architectural feature, structure, engineering equipment, external accomplishment. New construction, creation of new accomplishment units on the territory are allowed during regeneration but existing monuments and fragments of buildings are required to be saved beyond disturbance of historical methods of spatial organization.
