обширная территория, включающая особо охраняемые природные ландшафты или их части, предназначенная помимо главной задачи сохранения природных комплексов в неприкосновенности преимущественно для рекреационных целей.Территории национальных парков с учетом их природоохранной , оздоровительной, научной. рекреационной , историко-культурной и другой ценности подразделяются на зоны: заповедные, регулируемого использования, рекреационные, хозяйственные. Особенности режимов каждой зоны определяется Положением о национальном парке.

A national park is an expansive territory that includes specially-protected natural landscapes or their components. Besides the main task of protecting natural complexes, the territory is also intended for recreational purpose. The territories of national parks, considering their natural, scientific, recreational, historical and cultural values, are divided into conservation, controllable usage, recreational and economic zones. The particularities of each zone are qualified by National Park Regulations.
